What is ABS board material

ABS board is a plastic material with excellent properties, mainly made of resin and processed through a series of processes such as mixing, drying, and extrusion. The surface of ABS board is smooth, with many advantages such as high impact strength, good heat resistance, good toughness, and easy secondary processing. Widely used in fields such as home appliances, electronics, packaging, etc. Suitable for manufacturing refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and more.

What are the characteristics of ABS board

1. Due to the excellent impact strength of ABS board, it can be used even at low temperatures, and has excellent wear resistance, making it suitable for medium load bearings. Its creep resistance is greater than PSF but smaller than PA, so the bending strength of ABS board is relatively poor.

2. ABS board does not need to be affected by water, inorganic salts, etc., as corrosion by acetic acid and other substances can cause cracking. ABS has poor weather resistance and is prone to degradation under ultraviolet radiation.

3. ABS board has excellent dimensional stability, high mechanical strength, non-toxic and odorless properties, as well as good chemical and electrical insulation properties. Has high impact toughness, is not easily scratched, and has high dimensional stability.

4. The thermal deformation temperature of ABS sheet is around 90-118 ℃, and it can still exhibit certain toughness after annealing treatment. ABS board has good transparency and excellent polishing performance, and can replace PC board.
